LANCE HENRIKSEN

LANCE HENRIKSEN

An intense, versatile actor as adept at playing clean-cut FBI agents as he is psychotic motorcycle-gang leaders, who can go from portraying soulless, murderous vampires to burned-out, world-weary homicide detectives, Lance Henriksen has starred in a variety of films that have allowed him to stretch his talents just about as far as an actor could possibly hope. He played "Awful Knoffel" in the TNT original movie Evel Knievel (2004) (TV), directed by John Badham and executive produced by Mel Gibson.

Henriksen starred for three seasons (1996-1999) on Millennium, Fox-TV's critically acclaimed series created by Chris Carter ("The X-Files" (1993)). His performance as Frank Black, a retired FBI agent who has the ability to get inside the minds of killers, landed him three consecutive Golden Globe nominations for "Best Performance by a Lead Actor in a Drama Series" and a People's Choice Award nomination for "Favorite New TV Male Star".

GARY STRETCH

GARY STRETCH

During the early nineties, Gary Stretch was the glamor-boy of British boxing. His good looks coupled with KO power in his fists ensured he was big box-office. He also made money strutting his stuff on the catwalk as a male model. Some said he earned more as a model than actually fighting, and his appearances in the British tabloid newspapers made sure that he was never out of the headlines. Despite winning the British light-middleweight championship, his big moment undoubtedly came in 1991 when he challenged Chris Eubank for the WBO world middleweight championship in London. "Beauty V The Best" attracted the big celebrity crowd, and it was a major sporting event. Despite not really training for the contest, he gave the iron-chinned champion hell for five rounds before very controversially the fight was stopped in the sixth round.

Ultimately, the lure of Tinseltown proved too much and he is currently dividing his time between LA & the UK. In 2004, his hard work finally paid off when he was cast as psychotic gangster "Sonny" in Shane Meadows' gritty cult thriller Dead Man's Shoes (2004). Stretch received a BIFA nomination alongside another British talent, Paddy Considine. This picture finally earned Gary the recognition he craved and deserved. He went on to co star opposite Colin Farrell, Angelina Jolie and Sir Anthony Hopkins in the Oliver Stone blockbuster Alexander (2004).

JAMES RUSSO

JAMES RUSSO

A Manhattan-born character player who attended New York University, actor James Russo wrote and starred in a prize-winning short film called The Candy Store while attending college. His first big film break was as a convenience store robber in Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). Possessed with a stare that can bring shivers down one's back, he has been quite the accessible villain over the years, memorably portraying a number of gritty psychopaths and gangsters, among other undesirables.

Other decent roles in films include Kevin Costner's The Postman (1997) and Open Range (2003), plus Beverly Hills Cop (1984), We're No Angels (1989), Donnie Brasco (1996), No Way Home (1996), and a number of lowbudget crimers. Russo appeared opposite Johnny Depp in Roman Polanski's The Ninth Gate (1999), and portrayed mobster Victor Mura in TV's short-lived "Falcone" the following year. More recently, he offered a penetrating cameo as Frank Sinatra in Stealing Sinatra (2003).
